Plas Dinam County House Wedding – Alexa & Tommy

Plas Dinam County House Weddings are some of my all time favourite. Weddings in this idyllic Welsh countryside wedding vennue are perfect for couples who want a beautiful wedding that’s relaxed. Plas Dinam Country House is surrounded by epic mountain views and has 15 large bedrooms which sleeps up to 35 people – perfect for a long wedding weekend. Plas Dinam isn’t like standard wedding venue; they choose to only take one wedding a weekend so you have the whole house for the whole weekend to keep the party going with your friends and family. With ceremony options inside the manor or in the garden at the back of the house by the mountains or at the front of the house surrounded by history. There’s no wonder why Plas Dinam is one of my favourite wedding venues ever, so keep reading to glimpse into the beuatifully colourful summer weddinf of Alexa and Tommy.

Alexa and Tommy had their ceremony outside at the front of the house in all of it’s Tudor glory. They had the most beautiful and colourful flowers which added the most dynamic pop to their ceremony. Their celebrant ceremony was full to the brim of personal details and ended with a handfasting ceremony which everyone loved.

The colourful theme continued throughout the whole day and made my heart so happy. After the ceremony, they drove off in a retro car and had a little bit of time alone, which is always something I suggest! They came back to confetti, canapes and cocktails on the lawn at the back of the house which was super chiq and effortless. During their reception, they included some really fun touches to elevate the vibe of their day such as a brushetta bar, oyster station and drinks booth wich was a great way of creating little areas outside for everyone to enjoy. They even had beer pong set up which always goes down a hit and features on my list of fun wedding entertainment ideas. 

Before heading in for food, they had a couple of informal and chilled speeches on the lawn with the epic backdrop of the hills. Alexa and Tommy’s dad had everyone feeling emotional with laughter and happy tears.

Relaxed Weddings at Plas Dinam

We had the most golden sunset and walked through the grounds for photos. There are so many places for photos regardless of the weather, but thankfully the sun was shining and the flower garden was in bloom. The speeches were sweet, the evening was relaxed and a dress change later, everyone took to the dance floor to end the evening with a bang. It was honestly such a beautiful wedding and I’m so glad I was able to be a part of it.
