Woodside Ferry Terminal Wedding Liverpool

I’m so excited to share Beth & Charlie’s colourful Liverpool Woodside Ferry Terminal Wedding! When Beth and Charlie got in touch and described their plans for a non-traditional and laid-back wedding at two beautiful Liverpool wedding venues, I knew we were going to be a good fit and that their day was right up my street.

Weddings at Williamson Art Gallery Liverpool

I spent the morning with Beth and the vibes were so chilled that the rain outside wasn’t going to stop the fizz free flowing and the laughter and excitement bubbling. Beth’s showstopper dress paired so beautifully with her floor length veil and showstopper colourful bouquet paired with subtle vintage touches.

I almost burst with excitement when seeing her brace the rain when arriving for the wedding at Williamson Art Gallery. The ceremony was personal with readings and poems and inside jokes. With the rain still pouring outside, Beth and Charlie had their amazing confetti moment inside the art gallery, surrounded by their loved ones and beautiful artwork, which was such a lovely moment.

They definitely understood the assignment when I told them to get double the confetti they thought they needed and it was so worth it! After group photos in the art gallery and hugs from loved ones, we held back for a few couples portraits in the art gallery and oh my goodness – it was so amazing that I’m desperate to photograph more weddings in art galleries! As if part of the art, Beth and Charlie both seamlessly melted into the gallery and popped from the artworks at the same time.

Wedding at Woodside Ferry Terminal

A red vintage bus took the guests from the art gallery to their Woodside Ferry Terminal Wedding which was a beautiful way to incorporate Beth’s love of vintage and colour into their Liverpool wedding.

The speeches were held on the upper mezzanine and were funny, personal and informal which kept the relaxed and chilled vibes of the wedding and made the speeches really fun to photograph. I loved how reactive Beth and Charlie were to all the speeches and you could tell from being there how special everyone who spoke was to them.

After a few more photos around Woodside Ferry Terminal, it was time for cake and dancing. The vintage inspired wedding cake was lush and I wasn’t the only one who thought so as one of Beth’s nieces had been sneaking the cherries off the cake throughout the day which was hilarious to catch in action.

The dancefloor was packed – it was honestly one of the most fun and bus dancefloors I’ve seen in a long time and everyone was busting a move and keeping the party vibes going. I had such an amazing time photographing Beth and Charlies epic Liverpool wedding. Woodside Ferry Terminal Weddings are so fun, unique and quirky and I can’t wait to go back.
