The Palm House Sefton Park is a beautiful greenhouse in the middle of Sefton Park and one of Liverpool’s most beautiful and iconic wedding venues. It has beautiful tropical flowers blooming through the summer months and greenery, palm trees and other florals that flower year round. Sefton Palm House has fairy lights hanging from everywhere to create a truly magical and inviting atmosphere for you to have the most epic wedding. You can have both your wedding ceremony and part at Sefton Park Palm House and you have full access to the grounds and exclusive use of the whole venue for your wedding. With the beautiful Palm House itself and the park surrounding, there’s so many spots for photos and you can fully customise the day how you like by bringing in your own décor, lawn games, transport and more. I love Sefton Park Palm House weddings and it’s one of my all time favourite wedding venues.

Pip wore a showstopping white silk two-piece and a double layered frill veil which stole the show. Combined with the colourful florals, she looked iconic. Pip and James had a super fun wedding and decorated the palm house with DIY arches, an abundance of colourful flowers and candlesticks for a whimsical, fun theme. They decided to make their palm house wedding even more personal by having one of their close friends conduct the ceremony surrounded by friends and family. With a dancing entrance, a dancing interlude and a dancing exit, the ceremony was nothing but laughter and happy tears. My confetti dreams were exceeded with bucketloads of rainbow paper confetti outside the Palm House and it was such a fun way to kick start the party they had planned.

There was no shortage of entertainment as there were giant lawn games and buckets of beer for everyone to enjoy on the hot summer day. While the guests enjoyed the canapes and fizz, we snuck away for a couple of minutes to take some pictures with the vintage camper van Pip had arrived in. Of course, we had to take the group pictures outside the Palm House greenhouse in all it’s glory and Pip and James were all about having fun doing this by dancing and laughing throughout. Pip wore an epic two layered ruffled veil which she loved playing with and it just looked so awesome both on photo and film.

After the fun of the group photos, we took Pip and James away for 10 minutes for some photos inside the Palm House. With greenery galore, there’s always somewhere for a picture inside. Afterwards, we all headed outside to enjoy the sun, games and fizz with the guests. The day was magical with the golden summer sun shining all day long. All the guests were smiley and more than eager to keep handing me drinks throughout the afternoon. After completive games of Jenga and bag toss, everyone headed inside for food and speeches. When I say this wedding was full of laughter and smiles, I’m honestly not exaggerating. The speeches were funny and heartfelt and the whole day was full of personality. Tables were named after their favourite food and the was tables of cake and donuts for everyone to enjoy. After a fabulous meal, the sun started to set and so we headed to the park to enjoy 10 minutes of golden sun before the party really started.

Pip had a quick outfit change and swapped her skirt for trousers which were perfect for dancing in. They surprised their guests with the most epic firework display I’ve seen at a wedding and finished off the fun with some sparklers. It went down a hit and the photos look incredible! The evening continued with so much dancing and a celebratory donut bite. Pip and James’ wedding was so beautiful and so much fun, and I’m really happy I was able to be a part of such an epic wedding.
