A Fun, Colourful Plas Dinam Wedding

Plas Dinam is a stunning wedding venue situated in the heart of the Welsh countryside, surrounded by beautiful mountains. It’s quite a unique wedding venue in that they only host one wedding per week which is fabulous because it means you have full venue exclusivity and can stay in the house for at least two nights and normally the whole weekend to continue the wedding celebrations.

Bethany and Sam had both their wedding ceremony and reception party at Plas Dinam and it was an amazing combination of colour and fun. With an outdoor ceremony under an incredibly breath-taking colourful floral arch and surrounded by the awe-inspiring Welsh mountainous backdrop, they had a really personal ceremony. With personal vows and lots of laughter, Bethany and Sam cheered their way back down the aisle with massive whoops from their guests.

After the ceremony, we headed around to the front of the manor house for an epic confetti line which was a beautiful juxtaposition to the greenery of the ceremony. Bethany and Sam were covered in confetti and after a little while of mingling with their guests and having some celebratory drinks, we started on their group pictures. They really wanted to keep their group pictures really fun and relaxed, which is just what I love. Bethany’s bridesmaids wore vibrant midi dresses which suited the colourful spring floral theme perfectly. After the family groups, we headed back to the garden for some smoke bomb fun! We included the whole wedding party and had a mix of different brightly coloured smoke bombs and everyone just had a really fun time and couldn’t stop laughing.

We then had a wander around the stunning grounds and of course had to visit the greenhouse and tennis court for some fun pictures. The flowers on the grounds were starting to bloom, too, so we made the most out of the blooms before heading off to the Stables for the reception.

The Stables is a stunning, greenhouse-inspired area just below the manor house where the feasting and dancing takes place. With glass walls and roof, when lit with fairy lights and candles it becomes such a magical space when it starts to get dark. Bethan and Sam had temporary tattoos of their faces as their wedding favours, which everyone LOVED and used, and a custom neon sign of their first dance song too. The dancing began with confetti and everyone was on the dancefloor all night. It was truly a magical day full of colour and laughter and I’m so happy I was able to join them for their Plas Dinam wedding!
