Hilltop Country House Wedding – Cheshire Wedding Photographer

I don’t know where to even start when talking about this beautifully colourful Hilltop Country House wedding. Not only is the Cheshire wedding venue absolutely stunning with the colourful floral gardens, but Sarah and Garry’s wildflower wedding theme matched perfectly with their chilled wedding vibe.

Sarah and Gary had their Hilltop Country House wedding ceremony outside on the terrace and overlooked both the stunning garden covered in flowers and the ivy-covered country house which is such a stunning space for their relaxed and deeply personal ceremony. I honestly just love it when couples include personal vows during their ceremony and this will always be one of the main reasons I will always say that celebrant, or relaxed registrar ceremonies, are truly the best.

Gary’s orange suit paired perfectly with the rainbow flowers and decor. I love weddings full of personality and colour.

Sarah and Gary had their dog, Arlo, present for their ceremony, but he a little bit of anxiety due to the excitement of the day so it was perfect that they had the Cheshire Dog Lady to look after him and keep him relaxed during the ceremony. Straight after the ceremony, Sarah and Gary wanted to have some photos with Arlo as he would be going home with the dog sitter for the rest of the day and it was so lovely to wander around the gardens and for Sarah and Gary to celebrate with Arlo.

After some photos in the gardens, they had an epic confetti tunnel with a tonne of dried petals, and they stopped for a cheeky kiss in the middle of the tunnel which is always a super cute photo and moment for them. They decided on a vegan buffet style meal with delicious paella and pizza for the guests to graze on which is another great way to keep your wedding really chilled. I’m a huge advocate for making your wedding personal and food is a great way to do this – you don’t have to have a three course sit down meal on your wedding day; you can definitley serve your guests your favourite foods!

We were blessed with a beautiful golden hour for Sarah and Garys Cheshire wedding. We headed down to one of the fields at Hilltop and took some fun group photos with Sarahs’ wedding crew. They had matching hear sunglasses and tassel wands so of course I had to include them. If you want to read more about how I create fun and relaxed group wedding photos, click here!

I had to make sure Sarah and Gary had a couple of photos with the golden light too, especially as this was something they had both mentioned they wanted prior to their day. The dancing started with an absolute banger by Bob Marley and went straight into Funky Town and was a great combo to get the guests up and dancing. It was an amazing day and I’m excited to come back to Hilltop Country House soon!
