A Parr Green Hall Wedding in Cheshire

I don't know where to start with how amazing Harriet and Adams summer celebration was at the stunning Cheshire venue Parr Green Hall wedding barn. The stunning luxury Cheshire wedding venue, Parr Green Hall, also known as Scarlett Hall, effortlessly blends a historic classic chic with modern romantic elegance. It brings a beautiful, ivy draped manor house perfect for hopeless romantic couples seeking an exclusive use Cheshire wedding venue that you get to enjoy for the full weekend with your loved ones.

Parr Green Hall is a fully lisenced venue so you can have your ceremony in the barn or on the sweeping lawn clad with roses and wildflowers. Harriet and Adam chose to have their legal ceremony the week prior and had one of their closest friends officiate a celebration ceremony for them on the lawn. The enchanting gardens surrounding the manor house is the pefect setting for a fairytale wedding. With the perfect mix of a whimsical charm and country elegance, Parr Green Hall is honestly such a beautiful venue for couples who want a wedding that feels intimate and vast at the same time.

Romantic Wedding at Parr Green Hall Cheshire

The morning at Parr Green Hall started with laughter and gentle chaos in the absolute best way. Adam and the crew started the morning in the pool and it was such a fun way to start the day. Indoor heated pool and a ball - what else do you need the morning of your wedding? After seeing what Adam and his friends were up to, I popped across the road to the main house to see Harriet. The house was calm and happy with everyone soaking up the joy so apparent in the house. When I arrived, Harriet's hair and makeup were already almost finished so I grabbed some pictures of the final touches and headed upstairs to photograph the details. Harriet had lovingly handmade her wedding dress and the bridesmaid dresses and when I tell you she should start a clothing line, you need but see the dresses to know why. Her wedding dress was made from silk and such a timelessly elegant piece of art.

After an emotional first look with her I do crew and her dad, it was time for the ceremony. I was so excited for the ceremony because not only was it outside, which is my favourite, but it was lead by their dear friend and was full of personal elements, stories, vows and readings that filled the air with joy and love. The ceremony was paired with music played by a friend and it was no wonder why loved ones were shedding a couple of tears. Moments like this make me truly appreciate how much I love my job as a wedding photographer in Cheshire. Of course, confetti followed the ceremony.

Afterwards, Harriet and Adam wanted a fairly long drinks reception to enjoy time with their friends, which I loved. During our pre wedding talks, we discussed how spending time with their loved ones was a priority and so we did their group photos a while into the drinks with plenty of time afterwards for chatting. Before heading into the meal, Harriet and her dad held a couple of moments for some heartfelt words and was a great way to segway into the meal and break up the speeches. While the guests were seating, we took ten minutes to wander the venue for some portraits. Knowing that the weather was perfect for golden hour, we took a short time for them to practice their first dance by the water and truly reflect on the day so far.

Adam and his best men gave us two more speeches after the food and this was followed by another few hours of happy chatting and games outside before the party started. I love lawn games at weddings for so many reasons but especially because it's a great way to get people involved and give them soemthing to do during the lull between food and dancing.

Me, Harriet and Adam went for another ten minute walk while the sun was low and the light was golden before the party started. The lush light and the venue was the perfect combination. Parr Green Hall at golden hour was stunning and if the light is ever soft and hazy and golden, it's always worth taking ten minutes to enjoy it.

The party started with a hit. Harriet and Adam had rehearsed a short thirty second first dance to get the party started and it was fabulous. Spins and dips galore! The dancefloor flooded and Harriet and Adam were hoisted onto shoulders for an epic first dance finale. The dancefloor was packed and it was honestly such a good vibe.

With a red sun in the distance, I grabbed the couple for a final time and said our goodbyes with a hug. I honestly had the best time celebrating Harriet and Adam for their luxe DIY Parr Green Hall wedding. I'm so excited to share their day below.
