There are some really beautiful engagement shoot locations in the peak district. I love it when my couples tell me they’d like to go exploring in the Peaks, whether they already have a location they know of and love, want me to suggest some good spots or just want to go for a wander and see what we find.  The Peal District is huge and there really is so much scope and so many possibilities for locations. Why have a peak district engagement shoot? A lot of couples choose to have their engagement session in a location they love or means something to them, but it can often be difficult to choose! If you’re not sure what location to go for with your engagement session the Peak District is always a good idea!

BENEFITS OF PEAK DISTRICT ENGAGEMENT PICTURES

The Peak District has amazing views. With so many hills to climbs and explore, there is always a view somewhere that’s going to make an awesome backdrop.

Quiet locations. Although some of these locations might have the occasional hiker or passer-by exploring, for the most part there aren’t really too many people around. Or, if there are, they don’t tend to stick around and are often on the move.

So much choice. You can walk for five minutes and find somewhere epic, or you can keep walking and find somewhere else. If the spot you wanted t go doesn’t look great on the day; walk a little farther and you’re guaranteed somewhere epic either way.

Scenic drives. Most places in the Peak District require a good drive to get to, and although this part isn’t technically part of your session, it’s so good to drive through beautiful places.

Adventure. The whole experience is an adventure and a really fun time. As long as you’re up for a good time and embrace the session, it’s bound to be a really fun and exciting adventure of not knowing where you’ll end up, what you’ll find or how it’ll be. How awesome is that?
